I work out what you’re saying before I design how it looks, for engineering, science and medtech companies.
Engineering firms in West Yorkshire.
Science companies anywhere.
Your site already has the facts.
A buyer just can’t find them.
Any site can look fine now. The question is whether it says the right thing to the right buyer.
Is yours hard to explain?
Five questions about your own homepage. Two minutes, and nothing is saved.
Four stages. Words first, always.
- 01
What you say
The words, before anything else.
- 02
How it’s arranged
The pages, in the order a buyer needs them.
- 03
How it looks
Design built from the words, not around them.
- 04
Handing it over
A site your team can edit without me.
The parts a general agency skips.
01
Reading the technical material
Spec sheets, papers, standards and test reports. I work from the source, not a summary of it.
02
Claims that hold up
I check every claim against the evidence and flag what needs your sign-off. No wording that invites a letter.
03
Clear to AI search
Buyers ask ChatGPT and Google’s AI before they visit. Clear structure and plain answers mean you get described correctly.
04
Design that does the explaining
Diagrams and layouts that make a complicated product easy to follow, not just good-looking pages.
Fixed scope, fixed price.
Every project starts with positioning. Half up front, half on delivery.
Larger and regulated projects are scoped individually, usually after a Clarity review.
Start with a review, or a call.
The review shows you what’s getting lost. The call is free: I’ll tell you whether I can help, and whether you need a new site at all.
What people ask on the first call.
Why I started this.
The companies I most enjoy working with are the hardest to explain: engineers, scientists and specialists who do remarkable work and describe it badly.
I’ve spent years making complicated things clear, and I’d rather sit down and talk it through than hide behind a brief.
I keep the studio small on purpose, so the person you speak to is the person doing the thinking.
I designed and built this site the way I’d build yours.
